About

Momentum Data Solutions. Your data comes many different forms.

Momentum Data Solutions helps organizations prepare, connect, and continuously monitor their data before, during, and after major system implementations, migrations, and automation initiatives — ensuring the systems and integrations you rely on remain accurate, consistently connected, and fully audit-ready at every stage.

Engagement with PHI

Momentum Data Solutions recognizes the importance of protecting sensitive healthcare information and supporting organizations subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

When an engagement involves Protected Health Information (PHI) or electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI), our data processes are designed to support appropriate privacy, security, and data-governance requirements throughout the data lifecycle.

Our Objective

Our objective is not simply to move healthcare data from one system to another. We help organizations establish a controlled, documented, and security-conscious process for handling sensitive information throughout extraction, transformation, validation, migration, and delivery.

Our Approach

Our approach may include secure data extraction and transfer, controlled access to sensitive information, data validation, encryption and secure transmission practices, documentation of data-handling activities, and safeguards intended to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

For data migration, integration, ETL, system implementation, and transformation projects involving PHI or ePHI, Momentum Data Solutions works with clients to identify applicable data-handling requirements before information is accessed, transferred, transformed, or migrated.

Where Momentum Data Solutions performs services that qualify as business associate activities under HIPAA, the engagement may be structured under an appropriate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) when required.
